Okay... So if he placed that plank here, he could simply nail that other part on that beam and it would be stable enough... Right? The young man tilted his head as he stabilized his footing by putting his feet further apart. He had climbed atop of the old shed that he was renovating into new stables. He had the great idea that, if he were to renovate the entire thing they could offer a resting place for other horses as well. Stable boy didn't seem like such a bad occupation. He would also help around the tavern whenever he had some spare time from the stables. He smiled at the thought. Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea to come here after all. Yea, it was cold and wet and he had to be careful. But so far he didn't have any incidents and he planned to keep it that way. He lifted his hand, holding on to the hammer, as his other held onto the nail. Focus now. Stable boy dream was right around the corner. He just had to fix this damn roof first. He took a deep breath, holding on to it for a couple of seconds, before bringing it down.
A painfilled scream filled the air as he let go of the hammer, which slid of the roof and fell on the ground with a loud clatter. Polaris whimpered as he looked at his hand, which he held with his good one. Shit, he had hammered his fingers instead of the nail! Dammit. "Why is this so hard?" he said with a painfilled his as he took a closer look at his hand. Observing for any wounding, but it seemed like he was doing ok. For now. He moved his fingers, which were a bit red from the impact... But it didn't seem like it was bleeding. A sigh of relief left his lips as he shook his head. "Darn hammer," He said almost silently. He moved his hands a bit, placing it on the good part of the roof as his eyes searched around. Where was the cursed thing? He blinked slowly as he realized it must have fell of the roof. "Oh Xeion fuck!" he said louder then he thought, shaking his head as he spoke. Dammit.
He moved himself back slowly, his feet sticking out as he tried to find the ladder. But as he did, his foot found it with a rather powerful impact. Polaris looked around immediately, just in time to see his ladder drop down to the ground. The young man blinked slowly as he stared at the thing lying on the ground. For a couple of seconds he was silent, as if the realisation of the situation wasn't hitting. That was until- "Fuck!"
