[ANNIVERSARY] First anniversary of Time Will Tell!

We are thrilled to announce that today is a very special day: the first birthday of Time Will Tell ! We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your dedication, creativity, and smut passion that have brought our realm to life. Thanks to you we have become a close-knit community that we love so much.

As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, we have some exciting news to share. We are kicking off a very special anniversary week (because one day just isn't enough). Each day of the week, we will come with a new update in this thread to show our appreciation for you. Prepare for new adventures and escandalo plots. Here we go!

Then today is your day!  As a very special treat for you we Ro has created Regional Maps for Odiria! Each day of our anniversary week, we will be posting a new one that gives more insight into a country in Odiria. Each of these maps can be found in the Guidebook under 'About Odiria' [CLICK]. Click on the maps for the full resolution! The last day of the week will differ, but it will hold another special announcement.

These maps will expand on a country's lore and layout by incorporating villages, roads and more detailed geography. Please keep in mind that it does not show all the villages in a country, just a few special ones we chose to highlight! There are many more in existance.

Xaila

Dear traveller, welcome on our roadtrip throughout Odiria. Our journey will start under the scorching sun in the most southern country: Xaila. Land of the Queens, take the Queen's Road from Al-Qahil to Jahriyah. Follow the Fiery Path to Zahriyah, or choose to take another road. Go to the Hidden Oasis, if you dare. Those less fierce can wander through the semi-arid desert to the village of Miraj or take a ship to Solaria.

Nestled in the farthest reaches of Xaila, the small village of Miraj stands as a secluded outpost amidst the remarkable landscape. Though not affluent, Miraj holds a unique charm that captivates the hearts of those who venture to this westernmost point of Xaila. Situated on the edge of the land, it gazes out to the grandeur and untamed beauty of the seas.

On the picturesque island of Solaris lies the village of Solaria, which serves as a haven for weary travelers seeking respite from their seafaring adventures. Although not as prosperous as other villages, Solaria possesses a distinct charm that captures the hearts of those who visit.

Welcome to the second day of the anniversary ! Without further ado, let's travel to the next region in Odiria.

Lemuria

Dear traveller, welcome to the second part of our journey through Odiria. Today, we will follow the King's Road from Xaila to their friendly neighbours. Land of the moon and blessed by the seas, Lemuria is the most fertile of all the countries. Follow the road past the beautiful city of Silvercrest to the humble farming village of Dewsbury. Or take the picturesque route along the shores of the Lunar Bay to the idyllic Moongarde. Lemuria has something to offer for everyone.

On the outskirts of the enchanting Lake Celestia lies the village of Dewsbury. It exudes a rustic charm that mirrors the simplicity and tranquility of its surroundings. With fertile soil that yields abundant harvests and vast fields of green stretching as far as the eye can see, Dewsbury thrives as an agricultural hub. Dotting the landscape are endless fields and vineyards, full of grapes ready to be transformed into fine wines and spirit. The village is adorned with quaint cottages and farmhouses. Fruit trees, generously laden with a vibrant assortment of apples, pears, and cherries, lend a burst of color to the village.

The village of Moongarde invites all who wish to experience the serenity of Lemuria's coastal splendor. This idyllic seaside haven, situated along the shores of the Lunar Bay, is a testament to the harmonious blend of nature, fishing, and tourism. Fishing is the lifeblood of Dewsbury, where skilled fishermen embark on their daily journeys, casting their nets and lines into the sparkling waters of Lunar Bay. Moongarde's quaint buildings painted in soft pastels are reminiscent of the vibrant seashells scattered along the shoreline. Strolling through the quaint streets, visitors are captivated by the charming shops and inviting cafes that line the village square.

Welcome to the third day of the anniversary ! Without further ado, let's travel to the next region in Odiria.

Lemurian Isles

Dear traveller, welcome to the third part of our journey through Odiria. After a calming day in the green land of Lemuria, you realise you aren't quite ready to leave yet. A few days on a boat will take you to the magical underwater city of Lythrania but there is so much more to discover. The island of Pherusa is home to the village of Easthaven as well, just follow the blue road. Or you can take a boat to one of the other isles: Eudora, Maera, Thaleia and Ianassa. The latter is considered the most beautiful island and will lead you to the quaint village of Doveport. The Lemurian Isles are like the mainland, only even more relaxing.

On the largest of the Lemurian Isles lies not only the entrance to Lythrania, but also the village of Easthaven. An outlook over the Ever-Reaching ocean, Easthaven stands as a peaceful haven and the westernmost point of all Odiria. The harbor serves as a bustling hub of activity, where fishermen set sail to the rhythm of the tides and where visitors can immerse themselves in the maritime charm. The people of Easthaven embody the spirit of community and harmony with their surroundings. Their humble and welcoming nature extends a warm embrace to visitors, inviting them to experience the peaceful ambiance and natural beauty that defines life on the Lemurian Isles.

On the southernmost island of Ianassa, within the breathtaking Lemurian Isles, lies the serene and captivating village of Doveport. This peaceful haven, originally an elven settlement, has evolved into a picturesque destination for vacation homes, earning a well-deserved reputation as the most beautiful among the Lemurian Isles. Architectural marvels, crafted with elegance and precision, grace the village's cobblestone streets. Elven aesthetics merge seamlessly with the natural surroundings, creating an enchanting ambiance that captivates the imagination. The tranquil sound of crashing waves and the invigorating scent of salt permeate the air, awakening a sense of harmony with nature.

Ravaryn

Dear traveller, welcome to the fourth part of our journey through Odiria. Today we sail over the vast waters of the Ever-Reaching Ocean to the most northrern Kingdom of Ravaryn. We arrive in Elderspell, a harbor on the eastern coast that thrives in the coastal life. Follow the Emerald Way past the Ancient Mountains to the wealthy capital. Take the Crystal Passage to the formidable city of Norwyn, or head down the Tranquil Trail to the small village of Woodpine. Rest now, because omorrow, we follow the Ancient Way to a long lost kindom...

Nestled on the fringes of the Frostcrown's Pine, lies the village of Woodpine. This small village, while not abundant in wealth, thrives mainly on hunting the resilient creatures that inhabit the forest. They possess a deep understanding of the forest and the creatures that inhabit it. With skilled archers and resourceful trappers, the villagers embark on ventures into the Frostcrown's Pine, relying on their expertise to secure food and valuable materials. Woodpine embraces a humble and close-knit spirit. Its dwellings, crafted from local materials, blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings. The village exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where neighbors rely on one another for support.

Beyond the formidable Ancient Mountains, on the shores of the Ever-Reaching Ocean, lies the quaint village of Elderspell. This charming coastal haven, renowned for its fishing and trading heritage, serves as a tranquil retreat and a beloved vacation destination for the people of Ishgard. The village of Elderspell exudes an undeniable charm, its humble dwellings adorned with weathered facades that tell tales of generations past. Visitors bask in the coastal ambiance, exploring the village's quaint shops, savoring freshly caught seafood, and immersing themselves in the peaceful rhythm of coastal life.

Welcome to the fifth day of the anniversary ! Without further ado, let's travel to the next region in Odiria.

Avalon

Dear traveller, welcome to the fifth part of our journey through Odiria. After leaving the northernmost kingdom we follow the Ancient Way into the fallen Kingdom of Avalon. This elder road ends at the Ruins of Falerien, once the jewel of the mysterious country. Dare to find the village of Aeredale, but it might be the last thing you see. It is better to follow the Everlasting Path that leads to Xaila, yet the roads here are never safe. The small village of Aerilon offers travellers supplies for their journey. When crossing the Arrowhead Run it is possible to see some wood elves head down the Lost Road to the abandoned village of Skystead. Just make sure not to venture into the Nocturnal Woods...

Located amidst the verdant beauty of the Fallen Kingdom, Aerilon provides a refuge for those traversing the diverse landscapes of Avalon. It is a small village camp that transcends the conventional notion of a village. Situated on the fringes of the rainforest, the village camp maintains a harmonious balance with its natural surroundings. As the focal point for travelers, Aerilon serves as a gateway to the Everlasting Path. It offers supplies for those travelling through the country, for a hefty price. One might even find a local guide here, yet these can be as treacherous as te forest itself.

Hidden within the depths of the Adelian Rainforest lies the forsaken ruins of Skystead. Once a flourishing village of remarkable beauty, Skystead now stands as a haunting testament to the ravages of the Crimson Dawn. Like the ruins of Falerien, it was abandoned and left to the passage of time. The remnants of stone and wood, overgrown with moss and vines, evoke a sense of melancholy as they stand in stark contrast to their former glory. Nowadays these shattered remnants have found new purpose as an outlook for the wood elves, the sole inhabitants of Avalon who still venture into this forsaken place.

Welcome to the sixth day of the anniversary ! Without further ado, let's travel to the next region in Odiria.

Ashmoor

Dear traveller, welcome to the sixth part of our journey through Odiria. We have made our way through the mysterious Adelian Rainforest and now travel to a country far more treacherous. After crossing the border, it does not long to arrive in the first town: Glimmerhollow. Take the Hillstone Way until the Acorn Road, where the choice is between Alderrath or Dawnmire. When leaving the capital, one can choose to travel to Oakbrook via Miller lane or Old Aston by following the Iron Way. Whatever you do, don't go down the broken Hollow Path. This will lead to the ruins of Mournstead. Once a beautiful village, it mysteriously fell into despair when the Dark Marshes grew larger. This swamp betrays even those who know it best and it is wise to return to the village beneath the mountains before your soul is lost...

Amidst the idyllic grasslands of Ashmoor lies the village of Oakbrook. Located in close proximity to the bustling capital, this village offers a delightful escape for those seeking a respite from city life. It provides an ideal setting for exhilarating horse races that captivate the hearts of Alderrath's residents. Rustic cottages and cozy inns dot the village, offering warm hospitality and a chance to savor the local charm.  Whether witnessing the exhilaration of horse races or immersing oneself in the serenity of the surrounding landscapes, the village offers a harmonious blend of excitement and tranquility.

At the end of the Iron Way lies the village of Old Aston. Nestled beneath the majestic backdrop of the Ancient Mountains, the picturesque village exudes an undeniable charm. This idyllic hamlet, still within the embrace of Ashmoor's grasslands, is a haven where time seems to stand still. As one wanders through its quaint streets, the village reveals a tapestry of old stone cottages adorned with vibrant flower boxes. One cannot mention Old Aston without highlighting the breathtaking sight of its expansive lavender fields. As far as the eye can see, waves of purple stretch across the lands. The gentle sway of the lavender, stirred by the whispering breeze, creates a sense of serenity and invites visitors to pause and immerse themselves in the beauty of this enchanting village.

The ruins of Mournstead stand as a haunting testament to a village long lost. Once known with another name, the remnants of this once-beautiful village now bear the scars of a tragic past. Shrouded in an air of mystery, these ruins are said to be haunted, their dilapidated structures echoing with whispers of the past. Mournstead met its unfortunate fate when the dark marshes began their ominous expansion. Legends and rumors abound, speaking of forbidden magic as the cause, a power strictly prohibited within the lands of Ashmoor. The dark marshes, an unforgiving and treacherous swamp, surround the ruins of Mournstead like a sinister veil. Veins of blackened waters meander through the desolate landscape, their depths concealing ancient secrets and whispered tales of sorrow. Those who dare to wander into them often do not return and it is forbidden territory to enter.

The village of Mournstead has been in ruins for at least 170 years. The name it once bore has been long lost in history. Since its ruin it has been a forbidden territory for everyone in Ashmoor.

Welcome to the seventh and last day of the anniversary ! We would like to once again thank you for all the good times and for going on this journey with us, it's been better than we ever could have imagined!

Ashmoor

Dear traveller, after a long journey through Odiria, Ashmoor was the final stop. A day later and well-rested from travelling through the country, it is now time to celebrate! Luckily, you scored an invite to the Duke's Masked Ball. Perhaps you look like an upper class citizen... Prepare yourself for an evening full of dancing, chatting and feasting. This party is legendary and you will remember it for years to come!

Once a year, a most magical event takes place in Ashmoor. The day has finally arrived again: it is time for the Duke's Masked Ball. Whether you're here for the drinks, the entertainment or to scout a suiting bachelor for your daughters, all those able to afford the highly formal dress code are welcome.
