Time off

It was funny how only now, the tall man realised Norwyn had an insane amount of seagulls living at its docks, on it's shores and on the streets. For as he walked across the corridors of the home they had been staying, he noticed their absence around these parts. For so long, he thought as he looked through the many frozen windows whilst passing them on a rather hasty pace, for so long i have lived there. Three years maybe? Of which two were spend around the docks. He had worked there long enough to not even hear the birds screeches anymore, and yet, now they were gone and there was non to fill in the blanks. He started missing them. Brann shook his head slightly as he pushed open the doors into the snowy courtyard. This whole trip he had been glued to Rán's side and honesty, but now she needed some off time on her own, he had no idea what to do or who to speak to on his own. At home he knew his way, knew his tasks and knew the right bars to hit. People to speak and gamble out of their money over a nice pint. But here in this new busy place, he had not a flipping clue where to start. How boring.
