[EVENT] The Duke's Masked Ball (11-07-2023)

Once a year, a most magical event takes place in Ashmoor. The day has finally arrived again: it is time for the Duke's Masked Ball.

The doors of the Winter palace have opened themselves for the Middle- and Upper Class citizens to enjoy a night filled with music, dancing and all things uppercrust circles. The dress code is highly formal, which means that everyone is dressed to the nines in their most luxurious suits and ballgowns. To complete their outfit every guest is wearing a beautifully decorated mask. The grand ballroom, the hallways leading to the gardens and the gardens itself are open for the guests to explore. The ballroom is decorated in beautiful red fabrics with golden details and a feast is spread out on the tables for the guests to enjoy. The servants walk around with all sorts of wine, perhaps even something stronger.

Whether you're here for the drinks, the entertainment or to scout a suiting bachelor for your daughters, all those able to afford the highly formal dress code are welcome.

Everyone with a Middle or Upper Class Ashmoor citizen is welcome to join in on the fun and create threads within the Winter palace. Lower class citizens are not welcome and will not be able to enter. At the entrance of the palace, every passport gets checked by the guards. Please note that only the grand ballroom, the hallways leading to the gardens and the gardens are accessible to guests.

Threads can be created until the 31st of July (2 OOC weeks), and are free to be finished after the due date! Note that the masked ball is only 1 IC evening.
