Details

Ivar has sandy blonde hair, grayish orbs and a fair skin tone. He is described as a handsome young noble man. He is usually seen wearing his armor and longsword, but at home his clothing style changes into a more relaxed fit.

Dutiful - passionate - determined - jealous - protective - just - proud - vain - caring - noble - patriotic - intelligent - fair - impatient - bitter - loner.

As a human, Ivar does not possess any magic.

I. Ivar was born in the city of Norwyn, Kingdom of Ravaryn, to Governor Vikar Trygg and his wife, Lagertha Trygg. He is the younger brother of Rán and Ve – his older twin-brother by mere minutes.

II. He had a considerably normal youth, spending most of his time outdoors with a few friends he had made in Norwyn, always causing problems wherever they went. Ivar was not particularly close to either of his siblings. He cared about them, sure, but the blonde boy felt that he shared no common interests with them.

III. At the tender age of sixteen, barely a man-grown, he was sent to the royal palace in Ishgard to train with the royal guard, and one day become a noble knight. Ivar protested at first, wanting to be with his friends in Norwyn rather than travel half across the kingdom to become something he never desired to be.

IV. A few years passed and Ivar had become an honorable knight and trusted ally of the royal guard. Their training had definitely paid off as the once scrawny boy had grown into a young, handsome man. He had still some doubts about his destiny as a knight, but he had learned to accept that sometimes you cannot change certain things in life, and that this was his path now.

V. The death of his beloved father took Ivar by force, sending the blonde knight tumbling down a sinister dark hole. He returned home to Norwyn a few days before the funeral, but he had not been in the city for years, and thus had not seen his family in a very long period of time. The man felt more distant from his kin than ever, barely recognizing any of them.

VI. Weeks after his father’s funeral, Ivar decided to leave Norwyn and his family once again. He could not bear the absence of his father any longer. Ishgard and the members of the royal guard had become his new home, far away from the pain that remained in his birthplace.

VII. Ivar turned into a closed-off and silent person and rarely showed any sign of joy anymore. He upheld a façade for the outside world, but deep down he drowned into the endless cycle of nightmares.
