Anaïre Aerendyl

Details

Anaïre is a beautiful young lady with her silver hair and blue greyish eyes. She isn’t very tall, yet her personality makes her very present in the room. With her fair skin and light hair, she is certainly a woman that captures the attention of many.  

Impressions & Attitude

While she is very open about what she thinks, she is very hard to read. Trying to keep her thoughts for herself, not always being able to do so but well. Her attitude is almost perfect. She always knows what to say, how to react. Being schooled in that kind of stuff.

Clothing

Anaïre wears dresses of all colors and practical clothing as well. Often grabbing the second, which is instead of a silver armor a black one. Which is in stark contrast to what her father wears. It sets her out, and she is proud of it.

Altruistic – Idealistic
A devoted altruist, ready to face anything, fight anything to stand up for the people and ideas that she believes in. Ana can be considered quite vocal about her values. When she sees things that are unjust or wrong, she speaks up. Which gets her in trouble quite a lot. Though the young woman is quite sensitive and insightful, which guides her to speak in ways that resonate with most others. While altruistic is one thing, idealistic is another. She has a clear idea about right and wrong. Often thinking that other people share those same principles.

Reliable – Intense

Her word is her bond. Never will Anaïre back down from a promise she makes. People can count on her to come through. She will always see her promises and responsibilities through, no matter how hard it gets. Energetic, determined. All words to describe her with. Something she wants everyone to have as well, that drive to do things. Which sometimes makes her forget that not all are the same. Which can make her come off as pretty intense.

Passionate – Stubborn

If you can call Ana one thing, she is passionate about a lot of things. She loves doing a lot of things like the more adventurous but also the studying and investigating kind of things. Not being able to pick a favorite often causes some conflict within herself. Yet she loves doing it all. Stubborn one of her least prided traits, she is as headstrong as one gets. Voicing her opinion on almost everything, sometimes in a kind manner other times not so much. Recognizing the importance of letting others express themselves and have their own opinion for sure. Though she doesn’t always agree with them.

Compassionate – Charismatic

Even if she is young, the woman has certainly honed her skill to handle ordinary situations with a form of compassion, dedication and care. Her charm certainly helps with it. Determined to do better and inspire others to do the sale. Ana rarely loses sight of her goals, one of them is to be of service to others in any way she can.

While a waterbender originally, her magic has transformed over the years. Anaïre has learned to change the consistency of the water over the years. Now calling herself an ice bender instead of a waterbender. Taking great pride in honing out her skill even further. While she still has the ability to use water as a bending technique, she prefers the ice. Altering the water in such a way that it can be considered as lethal almost. Though she employs both offensive as defensive ways of bending depending on the situation. She is already very skilled, but the woman does need to keep bettering herself and her skill. Being nowhere clear to perfection. So there might be some techniques added in the future.

Anaïre can create, shape and manipulate ice by solidifying water. She is not able to create ice out of air, only out of a water source that is near her. Being able to use the ice in both an offensive and defensive manner. She can use it through physical combat, allowing them to both create tools and weapons for attack and manipulate the environment for their advantage.

Techniques she uses:

Ice dome: A dome she can create that captures people with the ice. Making sure the person that is captured remains under very low temperatures which can cause freezing of limbs. Though this takes a lot of energy from the young woman, so it isn’t something she has mastered yet.

Rain of ice: Transforming a nearby water source in icicles. Which can make it quite difficult for an opponent to move through without cutting their face open. She does need to be relatively close to a body of water to make this happen, needing real contact with it.

Sword:
Anaïre can create and wield a sword she has created of ice. For this she doesn’t need to be close to a body of water, the blade itself can cut through a lot. But it can partially freeze her hand for an extended period of time.


There are some restrictions listed with the techniques she uses already. Yet a few others will be listed here, if she used her magic to much frostbite can happen to her. She isn’t immune to the temperature of the ice herself, since it’s below zero extended use of her magic can result into damaged skin to an almost severe rate. One of the biggest things is that she always needs to be in the vicinity of a body of water, it being a well, a lake, a puddle, … So if she is in a relatively dry area her magic simply doesn’t work. Very hot temperatures also makes her magic nonexistent.

Sixth of the Mead moon

The youngest Aerendyl and what a blessing she was. Born in the summer. Loved by her parents and siblings. Enjoying the spoils of her father governing the city of Silvercrest. As a young girl she had always looked up to her father most. Worshipping the man almost. His greatest supporter. As most of her siblings would claim. Making friends rather easily when she went around town. Even as a young child she would always try to help those who didn’t have it well. With small things. Handing out some food, playing with other kids from all kinds of standing.

The gift

As most of her relatives if not all she had the gift of magic. Ana discovering at a fairly young age. It started off simple, playing around with water on hot days bothering her siblings by trying to make them a bit colder with the water. But it would grow out to so much more. On a certain age she discovered she could change the water into ice. And decided to specialize herself in that. Also enjoying her further life. Picking up on less maidenlike things like sword fighting and archery. The young one having lots of interests with a very wide range. One day she wanted to be an adventurer, the next a librarian and so on. Honing her skills both her magical and her other ones as well. Always making sure to be in touch with was going on in her family and in politics as well. Wanting to be of some importance to her father in the future. All she ever wanted to do, was help people. And helping her father would help the people of Silvercrest the best.

Anaïre tends to animal as well. Owning a horse called Moonlight and a puppy called Snow.
