The spymaster of Xaila had not shown an inch of emotion to the crowd all night. She had just stood by the sidelines, meticulously watching the important players of the game of alliances. She had kept a polite yet silent stance for most of the night, as Briseis preferred to have others do the talking. She was most useful when she could listen. Because of that, the words she did speak seemed so sharp and calculated, she might as well be wielding one of her daggers.

There had been a select few Briseis had meant to talk to in Ishgard. Those who others might not deem as important as she did, but whose conversations were crucial to her. The elf had made her way to one of those people quietly; she moved through the crowd like a shadow until she stood behind him. Surely, he would have seen her coming. It was his job, after all. "Lord Solomon," she spoke in her signature comforting voice. "We meet at last." She did not wish to spend any time on introductions, they both knew who the other was.
