His sister got married. His. Little. Sister. Got. Married. He almost couldn't believe it. Dressed in his best attire, he had stood there, watched the ceremony and had to wipe a tear of his face. This also meant that he was soon after, a thought that almost crippled him. He had tried to become closer to his wife-to-be, but was still searching for the perfect moment to actually ask her. That was something he had to think about later. Today would be his sister's day. Even though he was opposed to the idea to share her with Ezekiel. He was a good man and they had bonded a bit after their recent endeavours. But it would still be a thorn in his side to not be the number one of his little sister anymore. But alas, that as well was a thought for later. For now, it was time for a good party.
This wasn't the first time that he had been drunk. But this was maybe a bit extreme. The room was spinning, every sound was amplified and he felt his stomach churn with every step he took. With a mug of beer in his hand, he stumbled upon the two ladies he was looking for. On his way, he smiled to some of the guests, not entirely sure who it was or what the relationship was within their family. He followed the sound of laughing, screaming and people partying, knowing exactly where his twin sister and older sister was. He had seen that Ani had showed up with a man at her side and he had wondered if that was that Therion fellow that they had spoke about. He hoped not, as if he was, he really needed to speak with the older man. Not that he, in this drunken stupor, was capable of such a feed. "Sister!" He bellowed loudly, while almost falling between his twin sister bride and his older sister. "Have a beer, let's drink. This is your day, let's make it special." He burped in his hand, followed by a laugh and a hiccup. "You too, Ani. Come on."

And so she stumbled her way through the crowd, having found a moment where she could stray from her husband's side just for a bit. Perhaps the state which she was in right now wouldn't be the best state for confrontation, but alas. It didn't take her long to spot the familiar face, dressed in a gown almost as beautiful as she was. The sorceress had always looked up to her elder sister, even when she had been absent for so long. Though there was a time and place for admiration, and now it certainly wasn't when she'd decided show up with that man.
The sound of her heels would have echoed throughout the room if it hadn't been for the loud crowd surrounding them. The stumbling didn't stop her from determinedly approaching her sister, balancing the freshly refilled glass of wine in her hand as she did. "Aniu," she simply spoke, ignoring the prescence of the man beside her. "Do you have a moment to spare?" It was clear that she had been drinking, her words messy as she voiced them aloud. Though, just as she had pulled her sisters sleeve and guided her towards a somewhat more private corner of the room, a distraction presented itself in the form of a drunk, familiar face.
"Brother," she greeted him, the word paired with a surprised, almost apologetic chuckle. Speaking of timing. "Actually--" she was interrupted by a burp and a hiccup, unable to hold back a chuckle at the sight. By the gods, perhaps her brother and husband had more in common than they'd like to admit. Her gaze shifted from her brother to her sister beside her, questioning her descision to confront her right now. "Sure, you're right," she replied as she brought the glass of wine back to her lips, the intensity of the sips not as ladylike and delicate as they had started out at the start of this evening. Deimos was right. This was her wedding day, which shouldn't be spent caught up within an argument with the sister she had only recently reunited with.

She had found herself in a surprisingly pleasant conversation after discovering a couple of her old colleagues at this party. Half-empty glass of wine in hand, laughing and conversing with Therion's warm hand around her waist. Joined at the hips. Entirely unaware of the fact that she had hooked two of her fingers in a loop somewhere on his trousers. Probably to enjoy his closeness and use him to keep her own balance, which was secretly rather wobbly. Sssh, don't tell anyone.
The little group they had formed just burst out in laughter at a hilarious one-liner of one of the men when the lady of the evening, her sweet sister, rather drunkenly stumbled to the group. Her eldest sibling hadn't noticed since she just turned towards the diviner to whisper something in his ear when she heard her name. ”Tea! I mean... C!” A charming giggle for the silly mistake rolled off her tongue before she quickly cleared her throat when she noticed the attempt at sternness in Chaska's expression and voice. Though that thick layer of intoxication Chaska had doused herself in made it hard for Ani not to giggle, pressing her lips together as she tried not to. Her poor sister had missed that perfect window, so it seemed. Or perhaps she hadn't inherited it at all.
”Of course, for you anything, my love.” Her voice sweetly while Chaska pulled her away from the group by her sleeve. ”Oh. Hold on.” It seemed that she was stuck to something as she was pulled back to the group by her two fingers still looped in Therion's clothing. She flashed him a giggly smile before taking several seconds to figure out the puzzle that were her fingers in his pants. ”It seems I'm stuck on you.” She jokingly whispered, probably louder than she was aware of, followed by another giggle paired with a meaningful look before she was pulled away by her drunken sister. She managed to mouth to the group that she would be right back, while giving them funny looks as if she was in a lot of trouble. Which she definitely was and clearly didn't care much about.
Before her dear sister could explain the stealing away, however, they were interrupted by an even more drunk baby D. Making her spill the wine she was holding all over her hand as he bumped into her. Barely missing her dress when she held it away from herself. ”Gods Deimos, you clown.” the words came out like a soft hiss between her teeth, but she wasn't too annoyed by it. A soft chuckle followed at the drunken sounds that came out of the young man. She didn't even realize how Deimos most likely saved her from a drunken fight with Chaska. ”How can I, when you make me spill it all!” She shot back at her little brother with a grin. Before Chaska could empty her own glass, Ani took it from her and poured some of her sister's wine into the now empty glass in her wet hand. ”Let's cheers. To the bride!”

Looked like he had interrupted a moment of bonding between his two sisters. Did he care? Absolutely not. He was part of the family, he was allowed to be here and to hear what they wanted to speak about with each other. Deep down he hoped that it was about the man that Aniu had been seen with, as he did not trust the man one bit. He had seen the two together, close together as if there was not a single worry in the world. It had made him both furious and sad, as he hadn't been able to do that with Fauna just yet. Truth be told, he had also no idea where lady Rizal was at this moment. But that was enough for the self pity, he was here to get even more drunk and pass out somewhere in the garden. Probably the best plan he had all night. His sister was married, she deserved this party. She deserved everything he could give her, but from this moment, it was Ezekiel's job to answer her every need.
Back to the problem at hand, he had spilled the wine of his older sister, who hissed to him that he was a clown. She was probably right, but his drunken mind didn't care much about it. Afterwards she told him that they couldn't toast because he had spilled all her wine. And it took him longer than he wanted to admit to add 1 + 1 = 2 how that was even possible, but Aniu had already solved the problem, by pouring half of Chaskas glass in her own. She raised her glass, toasting to the bride and he wholeheartedly chimed in. "To the bride, my dear twin sister." He clinked his cup against her half full glass of wine, before taking a big chug and chuckled softly. "So, now that Chaska is married, I believe I'm next. But how about you?" He looked his older sister up and down, clearly curious about what she had been doing with the older man who was standing only a couple of meters away from them.
