Time eats all his children in the end

Fauna walked through the gardens of the castle, it was her favorite place to be nowadays. Simply because strolling through the grounds like this reminded her of home. Even if the style in which the Vylasar kept their greenery was entirely different than she had known. It still felt familiar somehow. Maybe because she recognized some flowers, or at least she thought she did. The woman cradled one of them in her hands right now. It was a beautiful rose, with large white petals. The stem was a bit thorny, so she was careful not to prick her finger. Fauna was sure she had seen this exact flower before, blooming around the Ylindar estate. Yet she couldn't remember the name of the plant. The brunette then   attempted to weave the blossom in her hair, as carefully as she could. She wrapped the stem of the plant around her long dark hair near her ear. She could see what she was doing thanks to a nearby window, who reflected every movement she made. It took a few attempts to lock the flower securely in place. But eventually she managed it. The sorceress was somewhat proud of herself as she stared at her likeness in the glass.  But then, she noticed something rather unsettling in the mirror image. Red liquid oozed out of her right hand. Aghast, Fauna quickly moved her injured hand in front of her face. She had been so careful to avoid the mean ends of the stem. And yet she still got hurt. There wasn't much blood, but still enough to get her to shake like a leaf. She hated the sight of blood, it scared her. A fear that could trace it's orgins back all the way to her childhood. Fauna looked up when she suddenly heard footsteps approaching. What a terrible timing! She didn't want anyone to see her like this. The woman sighed as she held her bleeding hand close to her chest. In an attempt co cover it up, though it was still very noticeable. She hoped that whoever was coming her way, would just-walk past her. Ignore her. So she could get to the safety of her rooms and deal with it herself.

Fauna wanted to move forward, away from-however, was drawing ever closer to her. But just when she was about to set her body in motion. She heard a voice behind her.  'You are hurt,' He affirmed. The brunette slowly turned herself around, so she could properly face the man. She had never seen him here before, but by his overall appearance and demeanor. She could tell he was a Vylasar. Fauna still held her bleeding hand close to her own body. Yet careful so that it wouldn't touch her clothing, she didn't want to ruin that as well. 'What is your name?' The stranger then asked. Fauna relaxed her muscles as she opened her mouth to answer his question. "My name is Fauna, Fauna Rizal." If her right hand wasn't bleeding right now. She would have held for him to take. Instead, the woman gave a small yet polite bow of her head. "I'm not terribly hurt," She then said. As she moved her eyes back to her wounded hand. There was still some blood seeping through her fingers, but not as much as before. "I wasn't careful enough with one of the roses." She explained. "And well; paid the price for it." Even if the flower looked stunning in her hair, it wasn't worth the trouble it caused. Next time, when she would attempt to do something like this again. The woman would choose a less thorny blossom. Since she really didn't want to repeat this injury.

The man before her certainly had good manners, as she bowed his head out of respect for her. Before introducing himself. His behavior didn't suprise Fauna, he was well-bred after all. Yet his civil attitude did have a positive effect on her. It washed away any anxiety or embarrassment she might have felt towards him, in regard to her injury. And thus when he offered to help her with it. Fauna felt like having him assisting her really was the best course of action. There was no point in declining. No- that would only be rude of her. "You really don't have to trouble yourself." She said as she walked forward, opening his wounded hand to him when she was close enough. "But if you insist, then thank you." Fauna smiled at him, her eyes trying to meet his.
