Details
Everything about Angelina screams precious, femine, fragile, petite and almost angel like. With her perfect porcelain white skin and beautiful, big blue eyes, she is often seen as a picture perfect girl. She has a very small frame and looks as light as a feather, fragile even, as if she could break at the slightest touch. Her hair is usually done nicely, as she does like to keep it tidy. It has a deep brown color that clearly matches the rest of her family. Her hair tends to become a bit lighter in the summer, where the sun seems to bleach it a bit. She has a very elegant body and thanks to years of doing dance classes, she is also very flexible and has this natural elegance about her. It almost seems like she is taken right of a picture book, as if she was made to just fit the perfect standards. Her general features would invite anyone in. Usually seen with a soft smile, she seems approachable. Her big blue eyes are true windows of the soul, as they can speak for themselves. Being from a high standing family, she is often seen wearing beautiful dresses that fit her perfectly. However, when out and about she goes against all the norms, tying her wavy hair back in a ponytail and wearing more loose clothing. She doesn't seem to care much about what people think of this. Some scar tissue can be found on her right hand, caused by a dog who tried to attack her. Or that is what she claims at least.
As a lycan Angelina doesn't seem as scary as others of her kind. With only 1m65 in height she keeps her petite build. Her big blue eyes remain, showing fear, hate and anger to anyone who gaze upon her. Having a stunning, thick brown and black fur, she really doesn't look like a monster at first sight. One could easily mistake her for a small, young wolf or dog when on all fours. She has some white fur on her hind legs, forming spots. Her pattern could be compared to that of a fawn.
Personality
Constellation The Raven
Alignment Chaotic Neutral
At first sight Angelina is a soft and angelic girl. Always smiling or having a general positive air about her, she is often seen as one of the purest girls anyone could ever lay their eyes on. She knows exactly how to act around people and usually knows how to please anyone and wind them around her finger. She isn't particularly manipulative, but she is quite social and knows how to use her words. People often view her as this innocent person who could do no wrong, as she often acts like this around new people. This is how she keeps her distance from everyone. Just be kind and soft, gentle and caring. Those are the things that she had been taught from a young age and that is the way she often acts around others.
Below that, there is so much more. Angie knows how to play people very well and sometimes uses it to get out of a situation. She has a very good grasp on what kind of view people have her and she abuses this immensely. Often playing the victim whenever backed in a corner, it's hard not to believe her. With her tiny body and angelic way of speaking, there is little that could prove that she is anything else. Always showing whatever side of herself to anyone she wants, it is clear that she has a lot of control over her way of showing emotions. Whereas people would often note that her eyes could speak for themselves, she has learned how to put on certain expressions to play into this. Like a little doe, harmless in every way. That is how she portrays herself to strangers.
But once you get to know her, it becomes clear that she is someone with a very strong opinion. Being a very rebellious teen, it isn't easy to change Angie's mind once she has set herself to do something. One would think that she throws temper tantrums or acts all spoiled, but that couldn't be further away from the truth. Angelina is actually very calm and collected whenever she states her cases or displays her emotions, seeming very rational whenever she speaks. However, she has quite the foul mouth. Whenever somethings on her mind, she is sure to speak it out. If something is ugly, you'll hear from her. And if you're unwelcome, it will be stated very loudly and clearly that she would rather see you be mauled by a bear then remain in her home. She voices her mind clearly and isn't afraid to face anyone. Her hate for the Winters is also something she will actively show. Perhaps not in words, but in actions. It's hard to actually demand respect from her.
She seems cold and distant from people, acting all nice and also sarcastic to keep them as far from her as possible. For anyone who does manage to break beyond that, they will find a fun loving and truly caring girl. One that has a lot of love to offer, but also one that is adventurous. She doesn't hide away her feelings when she is with people she trusts, such as her friend group. She is very active around them and acts as a natural leader, often offering guidance and advice to them. For the people she loves she would do anything, defy anything. There would be no bounds she wouldn't cross for them. For her found family means so much more then blood relatives.

History
Angelina was born as the youngest Grimaldi to Maurizio and Vittoria. Almost 13 years apart from her eldest brothers, who weren't even in Dawnmire when she was born. This meant that she never really had them in her early life, but that didn't really bother her. She had plenty of other siblings that looked after her and had plenty of love from her parents as well. Angie had been blessed with so much care a child could wish for. Being the youngest meant she was somewhat spoiled, seen as the baby, and sometimes things would be overlooked for her because she was 'just a little baby' and she 'didn't know any better'. That mentality stuck longer then people would think. Seeing her as an innocent little girl who could do nothing wrong. With her big blue eyes, pure porcelain coloured skin and beautiful curly brown hair, she was often seen as the perfect child by many. And she would act the role perfectly. Being so kind and well behaved as a little girl. Pure as an angel. Anyone that laid eyes on her could see that she could do no harm to anyone. At least, that was on the surface.
Angelina had always been a very active child, one that couldn't sit still, one that had an imagination far beyond any other. She would often make up games and ask her parents or siblings to play with her. Sometimes they would join in, but more then not they wouldn't, as they were busy people. It just so be that Angie was born pretty late and she did not have any siblings around her age to play with. This would often result in her just finding other ways to play. Sometimes with the maidens and sometimes even with children she saw on the street, inviting them in their home as if it was nothing. Barely 6/7 years old she didn't know any better. Luckily for her, her parents were very patient with her and would often allow her to do this. This eventually resulted in her building up her own little friend group around her age, something that really helped with the loneliness that the little girl was feeling.
Playdates and games aside, it was expected of her to enrol in classes from a very young age. But then again, Angie couldn't sit still. SHe would often get distracted or even start whining when a matter didn't interest her. She didn't like any of the classes, to say the least, as she just couldn't keep her focus on it. She became a handful to teach and teachers would often complain about her behaviour to her parents. And whenever they would join and see how she was acting, they did agree that perhaps, they should do something. So they enrolled her in a lot of activities. Some of them included horse back riding, dancing, piano and many more classes. This really helped her with her seemingly endless energy. She proved to be very talented with the piano, as well as with dance. Her petite body lending her to be flexible and fragile. She eventually also took on singing classes, something her parents would hold onto for many years to come, as they loved her singing voice. She would often sing to them whenever they were sad or requested it of her. Being just happy to please her parents in any way possible, as she did adore the attention they gave her.
When Emilio returned from Alderrath she was 8 years old, almost turning 9. She had seen him and his twin brother, Victor, from time to time, but she had always been very distant from them. Having a bit of distrust in the two as they were seen as family, but she had a hard time adjusting to that claim. They weren't around during very crucial years of her life, which, perhaps, resulted in her distrust of them. She would get uncomfortable whenever left alone with Emilio, even more so with Victor, and would rarely even speak to them or make eye contact. Like a true child she would hide behind her parents whenever they came, being clearly intimidated by them. The return of one of her eldest brothers did give the opportunity for more of a bond to be established between the two of them. The man believed he had to make up for lost time and would often ask her what she wanted to do. After a couple of weeks of doing this she pointed out that she wanted to learn to sword fight like him and Victor. Emilio thought she was joking at first, but when she pressed on he agreed. At first they would play fight with wooden swords, materials that were still somewhat too heavy for her to wield, but she proved to be a quick learner. Those classes she had with him, those trainings, that bonding... It really changed her behaviour towards him. She warmed up to him and for the first time in her life, she truly felt like having a sibling that understood her.
She would often share her concerns with Emilio or even ask him the most ridiculous questions. In only a matter of one year did they go from strangers to deeply bonded siblings. Angie loved her brother deeply, adoring the fact that he never held back or would baby her like other people did. He treated her as an equal, even as a child. Her opinion seemed to matter to him, her ideas and thoughts were heard by him, and her secrets would always be safe with him. They were not only siblings, but they were best friends. Emilio would often talk to her about certain things that she didn't quite understand at the time, but she would listen, just like he did. And for that fact alone, for the fact that he viewed her as so much more then just a fragile pretty doll, he was her world. Eventually she even went so far as to say she wanted to be just like him when growing up; a knight. At first Emilio thought it was somewhat cute, but as time went on it became clear; she was being serious. So he promised her one things. One day, when she was strong enough to do it, he would give her his sword, so that she would always have a part of him with her wherever she went. Facing every challenge together, no matter what. It was a promise she would always keep in her heart. One day it would become a reality, she was sure of that.
And life was peaceful, fun and calming. That was until she turned 13, being a teenager meant she became a bit more rebellious. She would often leave the house without saying anything, usually to hang out with her friends. AT first her parents only noted concern for her, but she would often retaliate back way more aggressive than they did. Feeling driven into a corner a lot of the times, she eventually even decided to spend some nights away from home. Just to spite them at first, but eventually also just for fun. And despite all that, she still didn't seem to act out in extreme ways... That was until her brother got engaged.
Jane Winter was her name. Someone that was already around Dawnmire a lot for her health or something. Angie had always held her distance from the girl. But when she got engaged to her brother, it meant war. She would often act out in ways to disturb their private time, often even dragging Emilio away from her with a weak excuse such as 'big brother please come see the bug i caught' and all that. It were just little things, little attempts, to keep them from each other. She hated the fact that her brother was being taken away from her. She hated that their time together wasn't as pure anymore as it used to be. She wanted all his time to be hers and not another's. She didn't want him to marry someone. It just didn't seem right to her. It made her so angry, so jealous, just for the fact that she was stealing her brother away from her. At least, that was what she believed. Being alone with Jane would often result in the little girl being mean and rude to her, only to put on her angelic appearance once more whenever someone else would join them. With her big blue eyes and perfect smile, how could she ever be so rude an mean. It was hard to believe that she even wished death upon the Winter, because such words would never leave such a precious girls' mouth... Right?
But it didn't work. It all didn't work. And that made her even more upset. Perhaps for the first time ever, she did not get what she wanted. She wasn't put as first by someone who had promised her to be by her through everything. This resulted in her rebellious behaviour worsening. She would often be with her friends, ignoring family and just doing whatever she wanted. Doing stuff that teenagers would do, but weren't very becoming for a young lady like herself. She did get scolded sometimes for this, but instead of actually correcting her behaviour, it only caused the opposite. Angelina developed hate for Ashmoor through the many ways people spoke to her, saying that a lady like her shouldn't be like this or claiming that women shouldn't be out and about with the boys. All of that hate, for Jane, for the engagement, for that mentality, for everything, eventually came together. In her rebellious teen mind it finally made sense; It was all the fault of the upper class and the whole system behind it, a system the Winters had put in place. And just like that a switch was flipped in her head. Fuck the system.
She would often hang out with her friend in their little clubhouse in the woods, doing stupid shit that was borderline dangerous from time to time. But kids be kids... And from one dare came another. When they found a lycan trapped in some sort of machinery, it eventually became a game of I dare you, eventually ending up with Angie putting her hand in the cage. At first nothing happened, as the beast seemed dead at first sight. But the game went on and she was dared to touch it, so she did. This caused the beast to awaken and bite her hand, almost tearing of a finger in the process. The situation resulted in chaos and a lot of blood loss, which she eventually fainted from.
When she finally awoke again she was at home, with some of her friend by her side. Her hand had been tapped up, taken care off by a doctor. Her friends didn't know what happened, aside from Hojin, who had been with her when it all happened. Her friends claimed she was attacked by a stray dog and at first she believed them. But when Hojin and her were alone, he explained the situation to her to the fullest. It was now a secret they both had to carry, a burden caused by a stupid game. How idiotic.
When the first moon came, Hojin was there to help her through it. He had build her a cage that looked similar to the one they had found the original lycan in, but different. Constricted underneath their little clubhouse, in the old basement that had once been one with the building. Every month from then on she would get locked in there, always having Hojin there by her side. Hushing her to stay calm, supporting her through it all to the best of his capabilities. It was burden for the both of them to carry, after all.
Everything that had happened had caused her to grow even more apart from her family. Emilio tried to reach out to her from time to time, but even he was busy. She eventually turned his back on him when he asked her one last time to join him in training. Shortly after he left with Victor to go hunt. And that was the last she ever saw of her brother. His mauled up thorn apart body was brought in shortly after. He was dead. Killed by a wolf, or so people claimed. But Angelina didn't believe it. Angered by the loss of her closest friend, her stone, her buddy, she lashed out, claiming that it was all Victors fault. Never has she been so angry, so grief-stricken, that she had said such things. But emotions and pain could do a lot to people and she was no exception. For her, Victor was no more then just an acquaintance as she had never really tried to bond with him. Now with the incident fresh in her mind, her judgement was made. She hated her brother for not being able to protect Emilio. And she blamed him. For everything that had happened.
Naturally, it was up to Victor to become the next baron of Dawnmire. And when that day eventually came, she did not congratulate him. She didn't even say a word to him, only angerly looking at him. Her parents did not have the energy to correct her, as the loss of their son had effected them deeply. And as time went on, Angie couldn't let go of all the pain she felt. She missed her brother so very much, crying at night, begging him to come home, pleading for it all to be a lie. But this was the real world and there was nothing she could do about it. Her anger and pain eventually seemed to settle down, but she never found peace. All she did was become more timid about it, her way of acting being stubborn and spiteful. Blaming everything for this unfair world that was laid before her, she tried to find her own joy despite it all.
