Odirian Tribes
Write your own Odirian tribe
The Odirian Tribes
As an RP site with a bunch of lore, it seemed like a fun idea to let the members add some of their own! You get the chance to write out the tribe's own rituals, festivities, etc. beside the already existing lore, together with the staff. For each tribe we have a little guideline to give you some inspiration for your application, but everything aside from that is up to you to decide. You don't even have to apply as a Chief or Chieftain to be able to write out a tribe's application. A tribe needs the following aspects:

  • A ranking system. Does your tribe only have a Chief/Chieftain, or does it have more ranks?

  • Cultural practices. How do they handle things like marriage, death, or maybe even birthdays? Do they have any specific rituals?

  • Their relationship with the other tribes. Do they like the other tribes? Do they resent them, and why?

  • In case of the Xailan tribes: their relationship with Al-Qahil. Do they like their current rulers? Do they resent them, and why? And what is their relationship with the other tribe?

  • In case of the Xailan tribes: a fitting name, preferably one that has some sort of meaning or lore. Maybe something desert related or something tied to a certain ritual.

You can take the WHITE STAG THREAD (CLICK) as an example for your tribe application.

Before closing the applications and choosing the accepted tribes, we will announce the closing of the applications a week beforehand, so that everyone still has a chance to write an application for the tribe that they'd like.

NOTE: You may ask yourself why the Chieftains of the Xailan tribes are referred to as Chieftains instead of Chief's like the Avalon tribes. The Xailan tribes are ancient, real tribes while those of Avalon are smaller groups that have been formed over time after The Crimson Raid, hence why they are not seen as "official" tribes, even though they've given themselves the name.

Have fun writing your applications!
Avalon: Blue Moon Tribe
The Blue Moon tribe, named after the rare event of a thirteenth full moon, is a tribe that consists mostly of druids living life within animal forms. Most of them shapeshift into wolves, giving the tribe a "pack" feeling. Beside these types of druids, lycanthrope from all over the realm that have fled from society are accepted into this pack, that is, if they pledge to protect Avalon and its ruins. Another must is that they're banished from the tribe's territory each full moon, to prevent accidents from happening. The Blue Moon tribe lives sheltered away from the other tribes, traveling through all of avalon. The only forms of contact they have with the other tribes is switching the guards within Falerien and the occasional emergency meetings between Chiefs.

As of now this tribe has a neutral relationship with the other two tribes.

  • No prefered gender for the Chief, aged of 30 or higher.
  • Chief must be a druid.
  • After being accepted, must post their tribe info within [https://timewilltell.forumotion.com/f49-organisations-tribes]THIS[/url] board.

CLOSED
Avalon: Lost Serpent Tribe
The Lost Serpent tribe is a name feared by many. It welcomes all of those who have Avalon blood in their veins, and resents everyone that does not. Their hunger for revenge over their fallen kingdom is what leads them. Living within a settlement hidden within the treetops, they have created a community of murder machines. The only ones they'll reason with are the other Avalon tribes, and those with Avalon blood who live solitarily. They've mastered the art of anything poisonous. Poison arrows, darts and potions. They capture any intruder on sight, forcing them into a often not so friendly, rather violent interrogation back at their settlement, which is almost certain to have death as an end result.

As of now this tribe has a neutral relationship with the other two tribes.

  • No preferred gender for the Chief, aged of 26 or higher.
  • After being accepted, must post their tribe info within THIS board.

CLOSED
Xaila: Tribe of Jahriyah
The tribe of Jahriyah is a tribe that has lived through the hardships of the desert more than others. The small end of the Wild Cascade is their only water source, hence why their village and its surroundings are mostly dry and barren lands. The tribe within Jahriyah does not have many riches in terms of gold or jewelry, but their culturual riches which have been passed on orally for generations may be worth more than the fancy jewelry in Al-Qahil.

As of now, the relationship with Al-Qahil is fine, but does the next Chieftain resent them for their poor circumstances, or do they take pride in their ancient way of life without riches?

  • No preferred gender for the Chieftain, aged of 26 or higher.
  • After being accepted, must post their tribe info within THIS board.

Xaila: Tribe of Zahriyah
The tribe of Zahriyah lies within the greenest village of Xaila. They heavily believe within the legend of the first Chieftain's daughter, Zahriyah, and honor her within various rituals. Their riches lie within their lush environment, giving them more than enough resources to live a comfortable life. Zahriyah lies close to the Xailan border, causing them to have a watchdog-like function for the royal family in Al-Qahil. Whenever their patrols return with sightings of travelers, they immediately report back to the Queen or the Crimson Dawn.

  • Preferably female Chieftain, aged of 26 or higher.
  • After being accepted, must post their tribe info within THIS board.
