Though not quite adjusted to the bright light that welcomed him outside that morning, his eyes managed to make out most of the buzz on the streets that morning. There was only the regular really, people down on their luck, hiding away in the shadows of Alderraths underground scene, merchants trying to sell their crap and friends he made whilst living among them all. Nick smiled as he gazed up to the watery sun, squinting his blue eyes slightly to protect them from its weak rays. Today's plans were simple, and despite his dislike for the simple, he had to admit it was quite nice to get a sip of the normal. The past weeks had been a never-ending storm consistent of non-stop turmoil. Exactly how he liked his weeks to be, yes, but it did ask a lot from his body. Thus- he had chosen to take it easy today- see where his steps led him whilst taking in the sights of his home, his beloved home.

At his side was his dog, a poor thing he had found amongst the messy streets. It might not have been the smartest thing to do, but how could he have said no to such a sweet face? The tall thief looked down onto his loyal companion whilst walking the streets, a smile creeping onto his face at the sight of his furry friend. However, it might have been better to have been looking up as he strolled through town. Unbeknownst to him, another man had come up in front of him and it was only with a last-minute call the conman had managed to avoid crashing into the feller. "Juuust in time" he smiled as he looked up at the obstacle. Immediately taking in the sight of him. His timid nature, the ponytail- "Ah doc" Damian, the image of chivalry on the streets they called their home. Nick had come across his shop many times and heard the whispers among the people of the lower ring. "No patients this morning?" If he remembered correctly, the man in front of him had given up a comfortable life in the upper ring to come life with them amongst the slums. A story, sure to interest a man as Nick, an unusual one.

Business was slow today, he had worked through his returning patients and now the man was working in the chamber behind his office on some of his potions. Keeping his magic hidden was easy enough, as long as he had some time to work his spells into the potions. For now, he had some time, there were no more reservations and his walk-in was pretty slow as well. Most people seem to be content for now and as long as people didn’t get into any kind of trauma, his business would remain this slow.
Damian yawned behind his closed fist and stretched his arms above his head before he cracked his back over the backside of his chair. All this magic was making his sleepy, and with the fact that he hadn’t slept well last night, made him feel rather drowsy. He looked up when he heard the bell above the door of his practice, quickly stood up and walked to the front. There he found a man, just a bit younger than him with a smile on his face. ”Not this morning, no. Can I help you with something?” He asked with a small smile on his face.
