A wedding, a perfect event for him to join. Would he stay long? Who knew? But a good party was never turned down. The town had been rather talkative about a certain pamphlet that mentioned the boldest things about the most important people. The Winters. Wasn’t it fun to watch that all unravel? Since most likely everyone that had been talked about would be present at the festivity of the day. Yet another wedding of Matthew Winter, but also not to forget the good man his birthday as well. It was an odd day to pick as a wedding date, but well honestly he didn’t put it past the man himself to make this the party of the century. Completely for himself.

Though he wasn’t going to over analyze anything. He was just here for a good party and who knew what the night further entailed. A grin briefly appeared. Walking into the room where the music was already playing and the people were dancing their hearts away. Yet, a familiar face popped up close to the bar. And William couldn’t help himself, but he approached his brother. Motioning to the bartender that he would have the same as Theobald. ’Ah, on the hunt brother?’

Of course he would attend the wedding. Not because he cared about the people who were actually getting married, but because he would never turn down an invitation for free booze and entertainment. Additionally, he wanted to keep an eye out for his sister. She was quite the eligible bachelorette these days and so this wedding would be filled with men prowling around, trying to get her attention. At least when he was around he could swoop in when necessary. Something he tried to avoid, of course, as Penelope was perfectly capable herself, but still.

Of course, he hadn't just come to chaperone but had been eyeing whether any of the guests had piqued his own interests as well. As it were, he was actually eyeing the barman who was shaking his drink himself, after having already had quite the smooth conversation when ordering. He was interrupted, however, by his brother popping up next to him. "Willy!" he said, slapping his shoulder in greeting. "Ready to pounce, sir." he added with a half-grin, although now that he was here he would not continue his advances with the bartender. Maybe later on in the night if he came to get another drink. "What about yourself? Are you enjoying the night?" He turned his body a quarter to the side, facing his brother and the dance floor now rather than the bar.

While he was greatly looking forward to watching events take a turn, he was also looking forward to pester his siblings a bit. Mainly his brother though. As far as Penelope went, he’d simply keep an eye on her. Not wanting any sleazebags to annoy her. His brother however was the first one that came into his direct line of sight. At the bar off course. Where else would Theo be? A grin had curled around his lips when he approached the other. Being greeted with a slap on his shoulder. Chuckling at the words that were spoken.

’Anybody in mind then already?’ He smirked playfully. Taking a sip from his glass, eyes moving over the dancefloor. ’Oh, I’ve just arrived brother. We’ll see if this night will be enjoyable. Though without a doubt with the pamphlet that has been released, I wonder how it will unravel here.’ A chuckle slipped. If anything he’d see where the night would bring him. If it was straight to his own bed then so be it. If not, then he would equally enjoy it. ’How’s our sister fairing?’
