Details

Adaliah has striking blue eyes that she knows are probably her most attractive feature, which she knows how to use perfectly. This combined with her long, dark hair framing her face give her an almost exotic aura. With a square face shape that has the perfect mixture between harp facial structures and a bit of roundness that softens it slightly in the perfect places she is a beautiful woman. She has a long, elegant neck and her shoulders display her collarbones in a gentle, yet visible way. They are there, but not in a way that grabs your attention immediately. She's a petite woman and has an appealing fragility about her that seems to lure men in with ease.

She has a powerful, yet alluring presence, exactly what one would expect from a princess, though she also carries herself around with 'royal arrogance'. Adaliah knows that she’s good looking and her confidence makes her even more attractive than she already is.

Adaliah wears the finest silks that can be found in Ravaryn. Her clothes are probably her most valuable posession and though she mostly wears the colors of Ravaryn she adores all the colors that can be found and will wear them. They 'bring out her eyes.' Her dresses consist of tight corsets and flowy balldown embroided with beautiful white gold patterns all over. She wears this together with rings on almost every finger, earrings and necklaces.

Adaliah carries herself with arrogance and a smug look on her face. With every step she takes she takes up the space around her and draws eyes in her direction with ease. With her head high in the air and her expensive dresses it's hard not to give her a reason to, living a spoiled life since day one. This is something she loves to brag about. The money, her silk bedsheets that get cleaned almost everyday and the expensive fresh fruits she eats. She's rude and needs to be right and will disagree about almost everything with everyone. Even if they are right. She'll cut them off and share her unwanted thoughts instead.

She gets what she wants when she wants it and if she doesn't.. you just pray you aren't the one getting in her way. She would have maids executed for putting too much sugar in her tea or less. Adaliah is a daddy's girl and if anything happens she knows how to fake tears good enough to convince her father.

Flirting to get what she wants is definitely something she does. She shamelessly flirts with everyone, especially guests. There's just something about getting someone's attention in the way only flirting can. The rosy cheeks, the flustered looks. It gives her a bigger thrill than any adrenaline rush probably ever could. This is mainly because she also seeks admiration from everyone and flirting gives her that what she wants.

Other than being a total brat, Adaliah has some hobbies as well; dancing, painting, music, going for a stroll outside or exploring on horseback (as long as she doesn't get dirty).

And, really, she can be quite nice but that side of her is reserved for her family. Sometimes.

Adaliah was quite the difficult kid growing up. Being the third in line for the throne left her bitter from the start. She could totally see herself with a gorgeous, shiny crown with the most beautiful diamonds and jewels, but instead she's 'the daughter of' and 'what was her name again'. This made her want to play dressup with her older sister and brother all the time and she would cry and throw a tantrum when she could not be the queen. She usually got her way and ended up wearing a necklace around her head as a crown and a pillowcase as cape.


In her teenage years Adaliah became known as the arrogant one of the Ylindar children. She bragged about what she had to the little amount of friends she had in Ishgard and went around laughing at the homeless people. Sometimes she would be that person to take the juciest peach with her and eat it right in front of them. When there was any trouble she would go running to her brother or her father with big crocodile tears, crying until she got what she wanted.

When her mother did what she did Adaliah felt betrayed. She was never as close with her father as she was with her mother. This left her wanting to find her mother for a long time after her banishment. There were times when Adaliah had her bags packed, filled with dresses, her most beautiful mirror and her favorite heels, ready to get on a horse and find her mother. The things she packed where anything but ideal if she wanted to travel through Odiria in search of her mother, just to see her one last time. The furthest she got were the stables once, other than that she never got past the the end of the hall.

Slowly but surely she started to accept the fact that her mother was gone and even though she sometimes still dreams of seeng her and speaking with her one last time she knows that that’s impossible.


When her brother, Regulus, didn't return from his hunting trip the first thoughts she had were selfish. It was one step closer to her having the crown and all she could imagine was her sister never returning from a trip as well. The idea of the crown on top of her head had been a dream since she was young and she’s been ignoring all the responsibilities that come with it. This left her plotting ways to get rid of her sister until the grief of losing not only her mother but also most likely her brother hit her together with the grief.

She still wants to be the queen though.

She really wants some peacocks as well though.
