Fritz Farrington
His daughters made their way into the crowd to mingle. Fritz kept a little to the side at first, watching them. He had to blink away a little tear. They had become so big already, and so beautiful and strong and smart. Just like their mother. If only she could be here to see them now, he knew that she would be proud. But Fritz pulled himself together. He picked up a drink from a servant carrying an entire plate of them, and drink in hand he mixed in with the crowd. He knew many people here already, ofcourse; it was mostly the same people as always, although there were always new faces and there were always missing faces. He spotted a particular mask in the crowd and made his way over to the man. Even though the figure was mysterious now, a high priest who hides his appearance, Fritz still remembered the man as a little boy, and the way his eyes shone when he gave him the wooden bird with flapping wings made out of real feathers. Fritz nodded towards the younger man with respect - he was, after all, no longer that little boy, but a high priest - and raised his glass to him as a greeting. "Father", he said respectfully, but his eyes twinkled with amusement. The wine helped with that, too.

Tonight had gone well so far. He had mingled with the right people of importance, done his part and tried to fake his interest in subjects he didn't care about and gave the nods and smiles when they were due. It was easier to hide his bored expression behind his mask, though he had to admit it was getting a little warm. Or maybe that was because he was on his third goblet of wine.
To give himself some breathing space, Alpha had put himself to the side of the room, watching others dancing and mingling. He felt a bit lightheaded, a side effect of the wine probably. That meant he needed to tone it down. He wasn't going to make a fool of himself. Not so soon into this job. Alpha let out a sigh, looking down at his goblet for a a moment and wondering how he was going to get rid of this subtely, when another voice sounded.Reverend. Now that was something he wanted to hear more often. The High Priest looked up with a somewhat tight smile, though it definitely warmed up more when he saw who it was. "Professor Fritz!" he gave the man a nod. "I thought I had seen you skulking around here," he hummed, giving the man a look up and down.
