Such A Simple Thing

Although Isabella had never been close to her sisters, they were still her sisters. They differed quite a lot in age, but the main difference was ofcourse the way their parents had treated them. Isabella had been perfect in their eyes, their little golden child. Camilla and Accalia, less so. Even though ofcourse the eldest, Camilla, had obviously made it a lot further in life than she probably ever would. People considered it an honor to bask in the high priestess's presence; and yet Isabella got that for free, even if it was only sometimes. She walked towards her sister and smiled at her when she saw her. They were in their family home, where they had all grown up but where only Isabella now remained. It always felt too big, so she was glad when they came back to visit, even if it wasn't as often as she would like. "I'm glad you could make it.", she said softly.
