Billy Farrington

Details

Billy is build like a real woman, having a true hourglass shape as she is quite curvy. She isn't petite, but is more sturdy. She has fair skin and is very pale due to barely spending time outside. She has some scars on her hands and lower arms from small accidents that have happened in the lab. Her left leg is covered in burn marks from an unfortunate accident she once had with a fire experiment. Luckily, her face has always been spared from the accidents.

Billy has gentle facial features, such as having more rounded features. The only thing really 'girly' about her is that she does her make-up from time to time. And even if she does it, it's usually nothing grant. She has short, wavy, blond hair and two different colored eyes; her left being a mixture of blue and grey and her right eye being a pure green. She usually wears colored glasses for eye protection when doing experiments and it has become a habit of just wearing them even outside of her workshop. Therefore, not a lot of people actually know that she has heterochromia.

Even though Billy is part of the upper class, she doesn't really dress like it. If anything, she dresses like a man from the middle classes. Usually seen in working clothes, that are mostly dirty, she isn't quite seen as a lady. She has never been seen in a dress or anything lade like and she would like to keep it that way. Whenever attending a more formal party she will wear a suit. If people aren't pleased by that, they can go suck a-

Billy has a tattoo of some kind of moth and flowers on her right hip. At the edge of her burn marks, flames are tattooed on to make a nice transition. On her back a tattoo of a bear with antlers could be found. She usually covers all of these tattoos up as most of them are gifts from her friends from the lower rings.  

Billy is a passionate and fiery woman. She is often seen as 'much' by others as she is extremely enthousiastic. Whenever something grabs her attention, you can bet your ass that she will none stop obsess about it. She is someone who wants to know everything about anything. And in regards to thats she already knows a lot of things. She is a skilled engineer and scientist, having done multiple higher studies in the past. She is extremely intelligent, but socially inept. She lacks certain social skills and does not understand social cues at all. She has a hard time making friends due to her all around extremist personality. Some call her crazy, some call her just passionate. But there's no mistaken dat whatever she has her eyes on, will get done. She is stubborn, but not in an angry kind of way. More in a I can do this stfu only two more hours dad.

She is determined and headstrong. She is quite outgoing and also fun loving. She likes to meet new people as to only really explore new relationships and see where they can go to. Her main interest lies in magic and she will absolutely lose her shit over it whenever anyone brings it up. She has a sort of love for the craft, but not in the normal kin of way. More in a, man this is incredible I wish I could do this myself. However, being raised on an entire culture that is against magic, this is kind of twisted. Her obsession became a bit twisted and now her extended research is set on creating a sort of anti-magic weapon. In a way this is her way of finding a middle ground on the matter; as she is allowed to continue researching magic, but is also still accepted by the people of ashmoor.

She is a leader when it comes down to it. As she is rather goofy from time to time it's a bit hard to really see this in her. She is always smiling and laughing, but when it comes down to it, she can be extremely serious. In combination to her knowledge and intelligence, she can suddenly come across as quite the fierce being. When she really wants to, her entire demeanor really demands respect. She is a strategic thinker and knows where to hit to really make it hurt. Let it be physically, emotionally, socially or mentally. She is someone who always remembers and will always keep her knowledge as a last resort. Being not only a cunning and annoying opponent when it comes down to it, but also just a force you just don't want to mess with.  

Billy was the firstborn daughter of Fritz and ???. She was born into an extremely wealthy and happy family. She always had what her heart desired. Her father was a well known inventor and earned more than enough for the family. They attented partties for the rich and even though Billy was never aware of it as a child, they had connections that were of great importance. However, from a young age it became clear how weird she was. She was quite harsh to the other children, being insensitive in matters that scared most other children. Where she was fascinated by the idea of magic and death, most other children just thought of her as a weirdo. She had little to no friends because of this. Especially the higher up children wanted to have nothing to do with her. She was called a freak and a nerd whenever she would bring up weird topics or show another dead mouse. Therefore she flocked more towards the middle and lower ring for her social interactions.

When her sister was born and her mother passed, she didn't seem all that bothered by it. She was saddened, but didn't really cry. She loved her mom, yes, but she believed this was just how nature intended things to go. And as she grew older she also understood that it was the lack of knowledge that humanity had that led to her mothers passing. In some simple ways she could blame her sister for the passing, which was true, in a way, but also just a barbaric way of viewing the topic. She spent more time in the lower rings, making friends with more shady figures. However, they never really had any bad intentions with her and just thought her about anything she wanted to hear. Learning about culture and matters from outside the district, her interest on Odiria and its magic only grew and grew.

As she became older, she decided to focus more on her studies. It became clear she was a talented student and surpassed anyone in her class. She was quick to learn and even quicker to master something with her hands. She quickly became the apprentice of a wall known engineer. He took her under his wing and she learned anything regarding engineering from him. As she perfected her skills, her interests shifted a bit and so did her studies. SHe decided to focus more on biology and chemistry and quickly she was also being thought be a master scientist, who quickly taught her everything about the matter. At the age of 24 she had not only perfected her knowledge regarding engineering, biology and chemistry, but was also seen as an extremely talented inventor. She was able to invent a sort of mechanism that powered a heating system to help with airflow and heating in houses. This was the starting point of her career.

She had a little workshop above her dads and in this workshop she could do anything she wanted. Her research regarding magic and its properties were still being kept a secret. But it didn't take long for someone to take notice. As she was quite the figure in the upper ring due to her knowledge and handy work, it wasn't a surprise that some shady people took notice of her. As they approached her, it became clear that they knew about her peaking interest in magic. They made in offer in the matter. Money and safety for her research for anti-magic weaponry. She decided to take on the job and quickly started to deepen her research on magic. Now having a leggit cover as to where her curiosity came from, no-one really frowned on it anymore. If anything, it was seen as a good thing. If she was able to create something that could keep the people of Ashmoor safe of the harm that magic it could do, so be it.

- Even though Billy is loyal to Ashmoor and the church, she does not believe in its religion. She thinks science is the only real things and 'gods' are just fantasy to ease the mind.
- Billy knows a lot about mages and has knowledge on how to use magic, but has refrained on actually preforming it as she is loyal to her district.
- Billy sometimes wishes she was born a man as she doesn't like to be looked down on as a woman.
- Billy is deaf in her left ear, she was born with this.
- Her father means the world to her and she would do anything to keep him happy and healthy.
- Billy never wants kid, she gets awkward around them.
- Billy has two pet bat named Lulu and Kuloni. She found the both of them as newborns and raised them by hand.They hang around in her workshop.
- Billy has a fascination with the stars and wishes she could travel to Lemuria or Xaila to learn from the best.
