After years of living in Lemuria, the moment finally arrived. She was back in her native country: Xaila. Along the way she had encountered many familiar things and for a moment she felt like a child again. Her mother had kept her very well informed all this time. If something important happened, she would have known immediately. Of course with some delay as their communication was through letters. Her mother had stayed in Xaila all these years while Aisha was with her father in Lemuria. He taught her etiquette and introduced her to the local mages and elves. It had been an extensive learning experience, but the time had come to return. She had to work on her magic here in Xaila. The last correspondence she had had with her mother had been several weeks ago. Her goal was to meet her as soon as possible and hope she still lived in the place she passed on. The ignorance created some tension, which kept her alert during the ride.

Her ride had come to an end in Al-Qahil, from where she was able to continue on her own. The dress she was wearing was striking and clearly not from this region, so she quickly got a few glances while she stepped out of the carriage. However, Aisha ignored the eyes and thanked the people who brought her. The couple had been promised a lot of money to drop her off neatly and would now return to Lemuria. The carriage passed her and left her alone in the square. She paused for a moment, letting her gaze sweep over her surroundings. Despite the fact that she had just been in the spotlights, the interest in her had disappeared like frost under the morning sun. Everyone was busy with their daily activities, there were many stalls in the market, people who were looking at the unique crafts and a few guards on the side keeping an eye on everything. What they were watching and guarding wasn't entirely clear from her point of view.
