Aisha Mukhtair

Details

Aisha's origin is in Xaila. Her appearance reflects this. She has a tinted skin, brown hair and dark eyes. Despite this, her skin is lighter than most of the sun elves in her homeland. This is due to her father's lineage, who is originally from Lemuria. Furthermore, Aisha is a beautifully formed young lady who knows how to attract a lot of people's attention. However, this is not something she lets herself be guided by. She knows when to abuse the power of her beauty, but is also very aware that her own knowledge and strength are more important than her appearance.

Determined, observational, smart, pushing the limits, elegant, not talkative, unexpectedly, (irritated), ...

From an early age it was clear that Aisha was determined to control he powers. Her will to learn has always been great to push the limits of her powers and explore new opportunities. Her knowledge comes from observations as she is not the person to walk in the spotlights. She has always been a listening ear. Because she stays more in the background, she can surprise others with her knowledge and the power of her fire.

The bond with her mother is stronger than the bond she has with her father. She was her first person to trust as a young child. Her mother. She  also taught her the basics of firebending. Yet her bond of trust was often accompanied by disappointment. Aisha always had great expectations of her mother, which were not always fulfilled. The bond with her father is different, as she only got to know him at a later age. He gave her a lot of knowledge and gave her the freedom to explore the world on her own. The respect she received from the man has always stayed with her. He also taught her how to behave in different cultures and in the presence of people with different backgrounds. Because she has a good knowledge of people, she also knows that she can't just do or say everything. This has given Aisha good control over her emotions. At court this is often very useful, knowing that each person can have a double life.

Now that she is in Lemuria, the urge to return to her native land is strong. She can't be forever 'the student' in a place that isn't her home. She needs a story of her own, something to commit herself to. This feeling has fueled her rebellious little flame and makes her, different than usual, more irritated.

From an early age she has been taught by her mother to control her powers. Her mother was not the designated person to pass her knowledge to her as she wasn't the best mentor. The lack of knowledge, from her mother, worked to her disadvantage. Her mother tried very hard, but Aisha always craved for more knowledge and more diversity in the power she possessed. In response, as soon as she was old enough, she started experimenting with her powers. As a result, she regularly suffered from burn injuries. She learned her strength the hard way, something her mother wasn't always happy about. Despite the many burn marks, this had been her saving grace in getting her powers under control.

Birth
Aisha is born out of a mixed relationship. Her mother, Hir'ma, is from Xaila. While her father originated in Lemuria. She is a sun elf and he is a moon elf. They are very different in origin and character, but both can still be found in the upper class. It is unclear exactly how they met each other. No one knows whether it was a conscious choice and whether the relationship has known love. What they do know, is that their communication runs smoothly and they knew very well what they wanted to do with Aisha in terms of education. To this day, her parents live separately from each other.

Childhood
As a child she grew up in Xaila, where she lived on her mother's side. She learned how to behave and discovered that her mother's genes had the upper hand. She was a sun elf, like her mother before her. Her mother, who had her connections, immediately took action so that Aisha could develop herself as a Sun elf. However, her lighter skintone put off her first mentors. A sun elf was supposed to have a darker complexion. They did not believe there was potential in Aisha, leaving her mother with frustrations. Aisha was to young to understand those frustrations. She was very delighted when her mother decided to teach her everything she needed to know.

Adolescence
When she was old enough, she suddenly had to leave Xaila. From one day to the next she had to leave her familiar surroundings. Her parents had decided that she needed to expand her knowledge in Lemuria, hometown of her father. She needed to see more of the world and learn more from other people to expand her knowledge. Her mother alone wasn't enough. She had never seen her father before, until the day she arrived in Lemuria.

Adulthood (now)
Her time in Lemuria has given her a chance to get a taste of life and has given her a broad foundation on moon elves. Her eminent father always guided her well and gave her the knowledge she needed to know. The knowledge of how to interact with people was also passed on to her. As a young adult they looked differently at her, than when she walked through the hallways as a 13-year-old girl. She had to watch what she did and said, as there was a reputation to uphold. However, this did not stop her from maintaining her powers as a sun elf, something her father had always supported. Her time with her father has almost come to an end. Soon she'll return to her mother in Xaila, where she needs to prove herself as a light-skinned sun elf. This 'problem' was never a problem in Lemuria as they saw her as a unique beautiful young woman.

Now that she is in Lemuria, the urge to return to her native land is strong. She can't be forever 'the student' in a place that isn't her home. This feeling has fueled her rebellious little flame. She dropped her lessons and left the secure walls to explore the streets. She abused her powers by teasing people and teaching others lessons they deserved. However, this period soon came to an end. This was not for her. Her powers were not seriously trained, something she regretted. Nevertheless, this period has introduced her to a different way of directing fire.
