Arion Manwë

Details

Arion is quite a looker. His looks differ from most wood elves, with his dark blond hair and blue eyes one would say he wouldn’t belong there. He has quite a toned body and takes pride in preserving how he looks. His stature is quite tall, though nothing extreme.

Clothing

As far as clothing goes, he often wears earthly tones. Green, brown, sometimes gray. Everything to blend better into his environment. His clothing is fairly practical so he has room to move around. One thing he always carries with is his bow.

His emotions are intense, worn on the inside, often manifesting in behavior rather than direct conversations. He doesn’t believe in leaving anyone behind, or in “take no prisoners.”

Sometimes he is considered a bit too eager. Which gets him in and out of trouble regularly. Improvising to find a way out of things is one of his specialities. Arion isn’t afraid to try new things. He can be very impulsive, even reckless. Yet there is some sense of being careful as well. Yet that carefulness only seems to appear when it comes down to others' well-being.

Arion is able to make vines appear out of his fingertips. These vines are used as an extension of himself. He can make them grow, develop thorns, move and attack.  He also has the ability to extend pre-existing vines from other plants.

Over the years the young man has mastered his magic more. Now being able to create a small jail cell like a dome made from vines.  The creation of vines out of nothing causes an immense amount of energy, which still tires him out pretty fast. But when he extends existing vines, the energy loss is lowered and he can keep it up longer.

Extreme heat and cold can cause his powers to fail. Which is something he has to take into consideration.

The Manwë’s

As long as the family has existed they have specialized themselves in hunting. Something that has been passed on by generations. The family making a name for themselves by the good job they do for the tribe. Some of the members of the family have actually moved on from hunting to tanning the hides they obtain.

15th of the Corn Moon

During the last month of Sunpeak, Codrin and Idiane welcomed their baby boy. The arrival of their son was something they had been waiting for so long, after a failed first pregnancy. The little blonde boy came as a gift from above. Arion would be destined for great things or so his father has claimed to say. He would carry on the long line of hunters and fighters. Soon to be joined by a brother and sister as well.

From a fairly young age the boy already started to train with his bow and arrow. Which makes him a very proficient archer. Somewhere along the age of seven he also experienced his first contact with his magic. Being able to create little veins that were created by the top of his fingers. Falling flat more than once at first. But due to training by his father he did grow stronger over the years. Coming from a family like his, meant that he had to have a great physique. Constantly training.

Which left little room for relaxation. Though Arion had become quite a master at making time himself. To actually have fun, be a teenager. Yet he never forgot his duties. Never putting shame to the family name. Sometimes  walking a very thin line when it came down to it. Trouble is something that is easily matched with him.

Now 24 years old, his parents had started talking about marriages. Which only meant one thing, sooner or later they would’ve picked out a wife for him. Something he tries to escape, yet something he must undergo as well.
