Avalon - Elenwë Fenrora (Chief of the White Stag Tribe)

Details

Elenwë carries her small frame with grace. She wears her long blonde hair loose or in partial braids. She wears mostly blues, greens, and white. Looks can be deceiving as she is an adept warrior.

Due to what she is, it has never been a secret to Elenwë that she never got to know her father. Her mother did not hide the fact that his family disapproved of their relationship and that she left before her daughter was born to save her from the scorn. In turn, Elenwë has grown up with a strong desire to prove herself. She loves her wood elf family but has always harboured the feeling that she does not fully belong. On the other side, she thinks negatively of her moon elf relatives and is somewhat fearful of them due to prejudice. While this does not apply to her father as much, she does partly resent him for not choosing her and her mother.

Elenwë is good at what she does, and it is easy for her to overdo something because of her search for recognition. At heart, she is a kind and adventurous woman and a loyal friend once you've earned her trust. Note that it can take a while for her to warm up to someone new.

Elenwë's magic has formed with the ability to manipulate time. That does not mean she can travel into the future or the past, but it does allow her to do some neat tricks in the present. For one, she can slow down or speed up time in a bubble around her. The size of this bubble depends on her concentration and energy level and has slightly grown with experience. She can use it to avoid a projectile shot/thrown at her or a punch in her direction, for example.

The other side of her powers is focused on the speeding or slowing of an object's age. Elenwë is able to turn something that easily rots into nothing in moments or make something hold on a little longer if it's near its natural wearing point. The sturdier the object, the more it drains her to do so. Technically, she would be able to use this power on a person as well, but she avoids this because a small mistake on her part could cause major damage.

That is the downside of her magic: it is very susceptible to her mental state. In a state of fear or panic, she will have less control and can cause things to disintegrate even if she did not mean to. If she tries something too draining, it might even affect her own body permanently.

Elenwë is the child of Finwë Aerendyl and Lúthrien Rùna, now Fenrora. A forbidden love story with Finwë's family disapproving of the match. Having endured some of their wrath already, Lúthrien fled to Avalon when she found out she was with child, both her and Finwë agreeing that only misery awaited their daughter if she was born and raised in Silvercrest.

Heartbroken and desperate, Lúthrien turned to her childhood friend in Wealdstone.

Elenwë was raised as a Fenrora while also knowing that her real father was a moon elf from Lemuria. Due to there being no Aerendyl present in her life, it was only natural she felt more love for the wood elves around her, developing a strong desire to earn their praise and trust, especially that of her stepfather. When she was old enough, she joined the Guard of Wealdstone, safeguarding the village, Falerien and Avalon as a whole.
