Octavian Aetos

Details

Octavian is a tall man with thick, black hair. He has a chisiled jawbone and an almost perfect button nose, apart from the smallest crook in it. The result of a broken nose he never seeked medical help for. It's something you'll only notice when you look at him for a longer period of time since it isn't very noticable. Octavian is good-looking and that's something he knows too, which ends with him flirting whilst he's at work most of the time.

Octavian's back is covered with pale scars, the result of being raised and trained with a strong hand. The man that helped him train to become a guard was an older man that grew up with older techniques, using a ruler or other things he could use to correct him.

Octavian is specialised in shapoeshifting magic. It had come to him naturally as a way to protect himself and his loved ones. Octavian shifts into a steller’s eagle and likes to spend a lot of his free time this way.

Octavian had always been a reckless boy. It seemed like every smallest piece of rebelliousness in his entire family, from his father, mother, his grandparents, everyone, was saved up just for him. As if they stored it away safely until the perfect match for his personality was found. It was. Unfortunately for everyone that met him.

Octavian spend most of his time outside with his friends when he was young. He barely spend any time at home with his boring parents and instead climbed trees, found a way to get onto the roof of most of the houses in sleetspire, stole food from the markets and did many more things a rebellious boy his age would do. That was just who he was and what his friends liked to do.

When he was sixteen years old his parents decided that it was time for him to grow up and send him away to an 'old family friend' named Wulfric. An old man who was surprisingly strong and quick for someone who needed a cane to walk with and was 80+ years old. He never found out how old he really was though. Wulfric had spend his younger years serving in the military and had decided that Octavian would have to go through the same training he did "when he was his age".

Octavian lived with Wulfric until he passed away on Octavian's 20th birthday. He moved to Ishgard and started working as a royal guard for the Ylindar family.
