Long live all the magic we made
Bring on all the pretenders, one day we will be remembered
Bloomtide had arrived in Odiria and as per usual came rolling over the vast hills of Lemuria. To someone like Vasilisa, who revelled in the soft temperatures of the season, she could not be more overjoyed. Even though both Frostcrown and Nightreign were never really harsh in Lemuria, there was something so soothing about walking through the vast gardens of the Moonbright castle and seeing everything in bloom.

Today was, aside from the usual meetings she had to attend as Chancellor, filled with excitement. It was not often she got to talk to healers she had not met before, those who did not already teach her —courtesy of her father's influence. Noe Holme was not a name she was familiar with, which meant that as far as she knew he did not belong to any of the ancient moon elves families, but her teachers had spoken highly of his capabilities. So the moon elf waited patiently at a table stacked with ancient scrolls she got from her family's library, underneath the soft hues of the cherry blossom tree.

❝ Would you peel an orange for me? ❞
His parents had always made it clear that he was adopted. Born in sleetspire and adopted by the Holmes family in Ishgard. Back there, in Ravaryn, his fake last name had carried a certain weight to it as they were a wealthy and rich family which provided the export of jewels to other nations. Recently, one of his adopted sisters had taken over a branch from Xaila and had even introduced spice trade with Ravaryn, making the family even wealthier. All were business people, tradesmen and women, in his family, except for him. His family existed out of humans and perhaps even a mage here or there, but even that was quite rare. So, when he had shown great skill in moon magic and therefore healing, he had been a bit of an outcast of the family, forced into a healer position.

It wasn't like Noe hated his job, to the contrary, he enjoyed it quite a bit when he could help people. However, he never did too great when he lost a patient. Where he was a gentle and kind soul, there was a hidden and old rage within him that always seemed to latch onto him no matter what. Never really showing it's ugly head, until it was too late. He honestly couldn't properly recall when the last time was that he had felt that way. Maybe when he had come home from studying in Lemuria once more and learning of the fate of his best friend. It had broken his heart and had left him angered with himself and the world. Why must everything be so cruel...?

A sigh left his lips as he closed his eyes, deciding against straying too much deeper into his own mindset. Today would be kind of an important one. He had been requested to go meet up with someone of the council, miss Vasilisa, who was also an Aerendyl. Noe had encountered many important moon elf families before during and after his studies, but never had he interacted with someone from the Aerendyl family. Whenever he did see moon elf families, he did wonder if his mother had belonged to one of them. However, seeing as his peculiar features never seemed to match the people he met, he doubted that that was the case. He had no records of his birth nor where his mother had come from. Only that she had passed away after giving birth to him in Sleetspire.

He calmly walked further down the hall, his shoulderbag easily resting on his hip as his hand remained on it. He had been informed by the guard where he could find the young lady and so it didn't take long for him to arrive at the door in question. He gently knocked on it, waiting for a reply, for walking in. He was dressed in his normal Lemurian attire, having exchanged his Ravaryn wardrobe once he had settled down in Lythrania. A smile curled on his face as he bowed his head. "Good morning lady Aerendyl. It's an honor to meet you," he said softly as he stepped a bit closer. "I'm Noe Holme," he introduced himself. She had probably been expecting him anyway. "I hope I didn't interupt anything important," Oh... He really hoped he didn't.
