[EVENT] The trial of wickedness

The new year in Ravaryn was met with a bloody start. After the failed assassination attempt on the King of Ravaryn, the culprit is taken to the dungeons. In the days following the shocking turn of events, it is announced that the trial of Freyja Nygård will take place one week into the new year. During this trial, she will answer for her crimes against the royal family and the country.

While the whole of Ravaryn is waiting in anticipation, the wicked woman is questioned for her crimes by the King himself, together with his guards. She confesses to killing the former Crown Prince, Regulus Ylindar, and for conspiring to kill her sovereign. Moreover, she confesses to killing her conspiritor and attempting to assassinate the King during the Twilight Ball. After her confession, Orion takes it upon himself to inform his family about the news of Regulus.

Finally, the trial is here, led by the King of Ravaryn. Many of those in Ishgard gather in the throne room of the palace to witness it. Nobles, commoners and foreigners alike are all anxious to see how it unfolds. Yet one thing is for certain: Freyja Nygård will answer for her crimes.
