When looking at a crowd, you still wouldn't miss Sunset. Despite her size, her fiery red hair makes her stand out most of the times. Other than that, she has a mostly flawless fair skin, light brown eyes - which you could see if she would be able to look in your eyes for more than half a second - and a small, almost fragile build.
Her red hair reaches beyond her waist, and most of the time, Sunset wears it loose.

Sunset could best be described as a young deer. The kind that stares into the headlights (which we've not heared about yet) right before... You get the point. Sunset is naïve and will believe most of what is said to her. She is also quite insecure and thus seeks security in other people. However, when she feels at home, she's a different person. She gets a fairly loose personality, makes a lot of sarcastic jokes and loves to tease the ones close to her.
Sunset is fairly outgoing, but only acompanied with a someone trusted. Whenever she faces a difficulty alone, Sunset tends to shut down, not able to think her way out of the situation, or think of a solution. She can be very dependend.

When touched by water, Sunset will turn into a mermaid. It is a part of her that is mostly kept hidden. Despite the warnings of her parents, Sunset loves to be able to transform and loves her tail. Her tail matches the color of her hair perfectly, and ends in more fire-y red fins.

Sunset was born in a simple but warm family. Both her parents are Merfolk, and from a young age, Sunset was taught the dangers of being Merfolk. Sunset didn't really mind, She has a very close bond with her sister Shira, and both of the girls were raised very protectively. Neither of them were allowed to leave the house on their own. Not even to gather some food in their own village.

But when both girls grew older, Sunset noticed Shira to become more irritated. Her sister wanted more. Sunset knew about Shira's late night adventures but ofcourse kept her mouth shut. Sunset herself was still to frightend - and shy - to join her sister. But it wasn't long before their parents caught Shira in the act and both of the girls were kept under close supervision.
Sunset expected Shira to become bitter, but she didn't. In fact, the opposite happend. Shira had made a plan to start a new life. One night the told Sunset all about it. That she wanted to run away, to Moonbright. Both of the girls could find a job and start a new life.
Sunset, as naïve as she could be, asked how they would start out, knowing the fact that they didn't have any money to begin with. Shira had answered that they could steal it.
It wasn't ideal, but Sunset had to agree to the fact that she indeed wanted more. She wanted to know what the world looked like. What was beyond their village. So she agreed.
