Maryna Riva

Details

Maryna Riva is a slender woman. You might think she'd break if you even touch her, but luckily that won't happen quickly. Her hair glows red in the sun but in the shade it appears more brown. She also has freckles, mostly on her face but also on her shoulders. Since she is Merfolk, she will grow a tail when she touches water. Her tail is a beautiful orange red with yellow and brown accents, to match her hair and eyes.

Maryna likes to stay on the background at first, to see which way the cat jumps. Yet she forms an opinion on something quite quickly and acts according to her own principles. She likes to help people, is soft hearted and has usually no problem with empathizing with others. But she also learned she had to fend for herself, already from a young age, which stays with her for her entire life. She's mostly tied between the decision to stay true to herself or help someone else in need.

Maryna grew up in a small village with her mother Azure Riva. Her father had left them when she was young and is out of the picture. Maryna doesn't know anything about him. When she was 14 she grew her tail for the first time. Sadly not long after that her mother fell ill and when Maryna was 15 years old, her mother died. Maryna was left alone in the world and had to fend for herself to survive. Luckily she was taken in their home by certain people and was able to live pretty comfortably up to now.
