Rán is a woman of average height, but she looks shorter because the has a very compact build and curvy figure. She has a very balanced and strong stance, which also makes her a very decent fighter. This is also because of her past as a shield-maiden. Rán has a pale complexion with pale blue eyes and light blonde hair. She naturally has a bit of wavy and frizzy hair, but you rarely see it, because she always wears it in complex braids and updoes.

Rán is a beautiful, fierce and intimidating woman to behold. She always carries herself with pride, and a bit of arrogance. She has a resting bitch face kids get nightmares about. You can read her thoughts easily from her face, as she is not a secretive person at all. Truth lasts the longest, so don't be insulted when she tells you what she thinks with just a look.

Rán always will dress like a true Norwyn noblewoman. She wears lots of rich furs: black bears, arctic foxes, wolves, anything what suits her. Underneath she wil wear woolen skirts, leather corsets and soft, velvety fabrics to look as put together as she can. Her dresses are most intricately embroidered. Most of the time she will have jewelry and gems braided within her hair, to show of her riches. To accentuate her hair, she wears lots of jewelry around her neck, arms, fingers and in her ears. Expect when she's in battle. She will wear iron chainmail and leather armor like any other shield-maiden. Her hair will be partly let down, revealing her wild, blonde locks and she will have her war paint on.

The Trygg family is one of - if not [i]the[/i] - oldest family of Odiria. They are of the old blood of Odiria, the oldest inhabitants from even before the settlers from other continents sailed over. These tribes performed dark magic and were known as the harshest and toughest people roaming Odiria, because the cold forced them to. The Tribesmen of old Odira slowly integrated with the colonists, seeing benefits in their alliance. But the Tryggs kept pride in not mingling their blood with the strangers. They gave themselves the name Trygg, which means "true". 
Over the centuries the old blood has diluted, because the high families of Ravaryn started to marry between each other to keep the power close to home. But Tryggs are still known to marry suitors from the old families of Norwyn that have tribe blood in them, some saying it is even more honorable than marrying a royal.
