The first thing people notice about Leyla is her height: she's quite a tall woman, and she isn't afraid to enhance her slender stature with a pair of high heels. The young woman always has a certain air of regality around her and most of the time, she's dressed in luxurious clothing accesorised with expensive jewelry, reflecting her rather bourgeois background. Another thing that makes Leyla stand out is a collection of small, black-ink tattoos on both of her arms that she will show off with every chance she gets.

Leyla adores wearing her family’s colours and often opts for black velvet, black fur coats or black lace when choosing her outfits, accessorised with silver jewellery or pearls from Lemuria.

The Iskandars are descendants of a Xailan silk merchant who settled in Ishgard centuries ago and married a noblewoman from Ravaryn. While their Xailan blood has long since been diluted by their marriages to other Odirian families, it’s said that the Iskandars' fierceness in both business and life is due to their Xailan roots. While their original wealth came from selling imported silk products and other rare goods, their focus has now shifted to the export of gemstones. The family owns a couple of gemstone mines in the mountains that mostly mine diamonds, emeralds and topaz stones. The Iskandar gemstones are known throughout Odiria for their purity and quality and they've been proud providers to the royal court of Ravaryn for centuries.
The current head of the family, Aslan, is a broody man who prefers to fly under the radar and let his fortune speak for itself - while his two daughters are all about showing off their wealth to the public.
Their family crest consists of five white diamonds on a black background, engraved with silver fleurs-de-lis.
