Polaris doesn't have much of a male build to him. With more defined hips and a small chest, people tend to compare his body to that of a woman. He has a toned skin due to his heritage. He has a round, more oval shaped face that is usually seen beaming with a smile. Soft round cheeks give him a warm bright complexion whenever he smiles. He seems very calm and positive, the kind of person that you can easily approach and start a conversation with. He has some muscle to him, but not much. Several large, thick scars can be found on his upper body.
He has short, straight black hair that could be seen as somewhat sun bleached in certain lighting. His haircut is a bit messy, as he cut it himself, but he tries to carry it as formal as possible. He has small amber eyes that are usually mistaken for brown.

Polaris switches his clothing quite regularly as he mostly wears stolen robes. He mix and matches it, always changing his style.

Polaris is an extremely beautiful looking merfolk. Having huge fins and popping, flashy colors it is clear that his merfolk side is close relatives with a tropical fish. He mostly takes after a betta fish. 
Due to being mostly a herbivore based merfolk, he mostly retains his human features. His hands don't change much as well as his teeth. The only thing really changing is the vibrancy of his eyes as they become a bright orange almost. His defence mechanism mostly lays in flashing his huge fins, something that can work on a shark or other animals, but not a human. He is quite the sensitive merfolk as he can't handle temperature changes and will go in shock if not handled properly.

Polaris is a stunning merfolk. Seeing him swim or just being in the water looks like he is straight from a fairy-tale. His colors could mostly be compared to that of twilight. Having scattered white spots on his body, it almost looks like stars. The scales pattern up to his back, taking up a shape in the form of small wings. More scales can be found on both his arms, as another huge fin could found on both. He has a huge tail fin, actually taking up most of his length. He has more fins to his tail, all huge. They are stunning and beautiful, but also fragile and would tear easily.
